Offsite training involves you or someone from
your staff flying to the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport where training
will take place in a nearby hotel. This will occur once a month
for six months (most likely the first weekend of
each month, with sessions starting in August or February of each
year). We will provide you with ten hours of training, running
from noon to 4:00 p.m. on Friday and from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on
Saturday.
The advantage of offsite training is that it
provides you with the information and tools that you need as you
take or plan to take your ministry through the process. Another
is that you spend time with other leaders who are wrestling with
many of the same issues. You will get to know one another as brothers
and sisters and will have opportunities to share ideas as well
as pray for and hold one another accountable before the Lord.
This
approach is best for those who prefer to lead their ministries
through the process and is the least expensive of the three options.
You will be responsible for your own travel, meals, and hotel costs.
